Gerard is an exciting young saxophonist and saxophone teacher who is quickly establishing himself on the Scottish jazz scene. Friendly, encouraging and enthusiastic, Gerard loves helping pupils enjoy making music while developing confidence, great technique and their own individual sound.
Gerard offers saxophone lessons in Airdrie and Glasgow, as well as online saxophone lessons for students across Scotland and the UK. He teaches Alto Saxophone, Soprano Saxophone and Electronic Wind Instrument (EWI)and welcomes both children and adults, from complete beginners through to more experienced players.
Currently studying Jazz at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), Gerard is developing an impressive career as both a performer and educator. He was a finalist in the BBC Young Scottish Jazz Musician 2025, runner-up in the North Lanarkshire Young Musician of the Year 2023, and has toured with the Scottish National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
Gerard's performing experience has already taken him to some fantastic jazz venues, including Duc des Lombards, Basement Jazz Cafe, The Jazz Bar, Alfie's Soho and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Gerard understands that every pupil comes to saxophone lessons with different ambitions.
