Voice Lessons.
Ours vocal teachers are there to help you achieve your goals of learning for fun or for exams, singing in a band, be that our weekly pop and rock band classes or singing your favourite musical theatre or opera pieces. We present pupils for exams in voice through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and Trinity Rock and Pop.
Lessons will be in our studio in Larbert or our tutors own homes. All tutors are PVG checked but for peace of mind parents are welcome to sit in on lessons.
Working with any tutor through Blackwood Music Academy will also give you access to performing opportunities at our regular concerts, competitions and we often play in our local care home Carrondale Care Home. We hold weekly rock and pop band classes for adults and kids where you can learn the art of playing as part of a band. No need to receive lessons through our tutors to join our weekly bands.
Learning the violin or fiddle is fun but we can also provide you with the opportunity to play with other musicians. Fancy playing with a ceilidh band or a rock and pop band. In the real world, most violin players don’t end up playing in a professional orchestra but may find a local amateur one to share their skills with. We’ll prepare you for this world.
Are you learning in retirement or is it just something you’ve always wanted to do? Kids can be accompanied to their violin lessons by a parent if wanted. You might pick up a thing or two.
