Meet our tutors!
Blackwood Music Academy only work with first class teachers. Our tutors are all professionals who have a range of qualifications and teaching experience along with an up to date PVG from Disclosure Scotland (Police checked). Tutors with less teaching experience will be less expensive than those who have been teaching for many years but will have achieved a minimum of grade 8. We have tutors to suit every budget. Lessons for all ages. Parents are welcome to sit in with children during lessons.
Blackwood Music Academy Rock and Pop Band Coaching for adults and kids. We have classes for all ages and you don't need to be receiving lessons from us to take part.
Rock and Pop Band Coaching.
You can be part of Central Scotlands biggest music academy where you can learn for fun or for exams. Play for your own enjoyment or take part in our rock and pop bands or ensembles. Learn in a one to one lesson or as part of group in person or online. Our teachers are not only the best around but are situated all around Central Scotland so come and be part of something big!
Working with any tutor through Blackwood Music Academy will also give you access to performing opportunities at our regular concerts, competitions and we often play in our local care home Carrondale Care Home. We hold weekly rock and pop band classes for adults and kids where you can learn the art of playing as part of a band. No need to receive lessons through our tutors to join our weekly bands.
